The USDA has awarded Heartland a $750,000 loan for rural economic development projects. Past awards to us have made possible several projects including expansion of the Madison industrial park as well as support for the Rural Learning Center Project in Howard. This money will help us invest in the growth and prosperity of our customer communities. Part of our mission is to make regular investments of both Heartland funds and USDA rural development loans/grants in the communities we serve.
